Family-to-Family Education Class via Zoom
Family-to-Family is a free 8-week class for families, partners and friends of individuals with mental illness. The course is designed to facilitate a better understanding of mental illness, increase coping skills, and empower participants to become advocates for their loved ones.
NAMI Family-to-Family is taught by NAMI-trained family members who have been there, and includes presentations, discussionsm and interactive exercises.
Registration for NAMI’s FREE Family-to-Family Education Course is now open. Slots are filled on a first-come first-served basis. Classes are being conducted online via Zoom.

Family Support Groups (English & Spanish Speaking) via Zoom
During the COVID-19 Situation, Family Support Group is being offered by Zoom three times weekly. Family Support Group is support group for individuals 18 years and older who are family members/caregivers, or care about a loved one who is living with a mental health condition. NAMI Family Support Group is a place that offers respect, understanding, encouragement and hope. NAMI Albuquerque is currently conducting meetings via ZOOM, including a Spanish-speaking version.
Family Support Group Meetings are currently being conducted in English on Zoom on Tuesday night from 6:00 to 7:30PM and Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:30AM. In addition, we offer a Spanish version currently on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 6:00 to 7:30PM. For more information, contact Annette at
