NAMI Walks 2019

A rousing success! NAMI Walks 2019 was held Saturday May 11th be at the Albuquerque Balloon Museum. The event was a rousing success and Senator Tom Udall kicked off the Walk at 8:45. Nancy Domenici was also in attendance. As of the day after the Walk, NAMI New Mexico was just shy of raising $120 Thousand towards a goal of $135 Thousand. But the fund raising doesn’t end with the walk. The closeout for this year is the end of June, so please, if you didn’t have a chance to attend the Walk, you can still click the button below and support the team of your choice!

There were hot air balloons, a climbing wall and even a car show with about 40 cars participating! Of course there were lots of tables from providers and partners in our community with loads of information about resources. Thanks to all who participated and volunteered to make this year’s walk a great success. Special thanks to Sharon Orchard, this year’sWalk Manager! Great job, Sharon!
